Why I started this 💌
“Hi, I'm Pearl. I love books — the kind you finish and immediately want to hand to a friend and say "you HAVE to read this." But I noticed something: once I finish a book, it just sits on my shelf forever. And finding my next favourite book is really hard.
So I thought — what if kids could share the books they love with other kids nearby? Lend them, trade them, or give them a new home. And what if, every time you read a book, you could keep a little piece of what it taught you?
That's BookBloomers. It's a place where your bookshelf blooms into new hands, where reading feels like an adventure you share, and where our parents help keep everyone safe. I'm building it with my dad, and I hope it helps you find your next favourite story. 🌸”
